Fundraising efforts began in earnest in 2015, with speed gained as master plans were drawn and formal gardens began to take shape through the skillful designs of garden specialists. Through community events, speaking opportunities, and one-on-one sharing of the vision, significant donations have begun to pour in allowing for the early days of construction. Initial fundraising is broken into two categories: 2.5 million dollars for the arboretum, trails, and formal gardens, 2 million needed for construction of a multi-use building for offices, gift shop, catering, and event space.

Growing an arboretum involves a lot of seeds. Your gift of $50 or more allows us to buy much needed planting materials for this garden. Please consider giving today. For specific gift designations, please contact Suzanne Cook at 903/235-6775 to better understand how the opportunities for naming rights and corporate donations can be utilized within the Longview Arboretum and Nature Center.
