Celebrate Your Child’s Birthday with an Arboretum Themed Party! Children will explore the natural world both inside and outside!
The rental fee for birthday parties is $125 for members and $150 for non-members ($50 deposit required to hold your reservation)

Refreshments are only permitted in the party room. Alcohol is not permitted. The Arboretum does not provide refreshments or the use of a refrigerator or freezer. Please bring a cooler if you need to keep items cold.
Outside vendors such as face painters are permitted inside the party room only. Venders such as live animal shows are not permitted. Please confirm with the executive director your choice of vender prior to the party.
Set up and clean-up time is included in the two-hour rental. We do not provide plates, plastic ware, cups, ice or tablecloths. Tables and chairs may be rented from a local facility or brought by your group. You are responsible for providing and setting up decorations, refreshments, paper goods, candles/lighter, and utensils. No silly string, confetti, piñatas, glitter or tape left on the walls or taken outside into the gardens. Balloons must remain inside the party room and not taken out into the gardens.
Please leave the party room as you found it. Place your trash in the trash cans provided. If damages occur to the party room or it is not cleaned, the deposit will not be returned. The LANC reserves the right to photograph any/all damages to the party room or failure to clean the room properly.
Arboretum parties can have an outdoor component. Children should dress for a short hike outside. (Closed toe shoes are best.) Sunscreen and/or mosquito repellent are recommended depending on the time of year and the time of day.
In case of severe weather, an alternate indoor program can be provided.
Booking and payments:
Parties will be reserved on a first come first serve basis.
A $100 security deposit is due at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
Payments for birthday rentals must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to the event.
The LANC executive director will be your main contact but is not an event planner.
If there are damages to the grounds or property, the fees are deducted from your deposit. If the damage exceeds the deposit, you are responsible to pay for all damages incurred.
If your event goes beyond your contracted time, you will incur an overtime charge of $50 per hour or partial hour.
Your security deposit will be mailed to you up to 45 days after your event minus any applicable deductions.
Payments can be made by credit card, cash or mailing a check. Payments made by check must be made at least 14 days in advance of the event.
Cancellations must be made at least one week prior to the reservation or the deposit will be forfeited.
