Showers and Social Events

Looking to host a bridal or baby shower in a unique place? Please consider the Longview Arboretum and Nature Center.


Included in a shower rental:

  • Party room rental for 2, 3 or 4 hours, which includes set-up and clean-up.
  • All gift opening must stay within the party room.



  • $75 for a 2-hour rental
  • $100 for a 3-hour rental
  • $125 for a 4-hour rental

For an additional $25, your guests may access the Arboretum grounds for the remainder of the day.


Days: Wednesday -- Sundays





Refreshments are only permitted in the shower room.  The Arboretum does not provide refreshments or the use of a refrigerator or freezer. Please bring a cooler if you need to keep items cold.


Set Up:

Set up and clean-up time is included in the rental.  We do not provide plates, plastic ware, cups, ice or tablecloths.  Tables and chairs may be rented from a local facility or brought by your group.  You are responsible for providing and setting up decorations, refreshments, paper goods, and utensils. No balloons, silly string, confetti, piñatas, glitter or tape left on the walls or taken outside into the gardens.


Clean Up:

Please leave the party room as you found it. Place your trash in the trash cans provided.  If damages occur to the party room or it is not cleaned, the deposit will not be returned.  The LANC reserves the right to photograph any/all damages to the party room or failure to clean the room properly.


Booking and payments:

Parties will be reserved on a first come first serve basis.

A $50 security deposit is due at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

Payments for shower rentals must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to the event.

The LANC executive director will be your main contact but is not an event planner.

If there are damages to the grounds or property, the fees are deducted from your deposit.  If the damage exceeds the deposit, you are responsible to pay for all damages incurred.

If your event goes beyond your contracted time, you will incur an overtime charge of $50 per hour or partial hour.

Your security deposit will be mailed to you up to 45 days after your event minus any applicable deductions.

Payments can be made by credit card, cash or mailing a check.  Payments made by check must be made at least 14 days in advance of the event.


Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be made at least one week prior to the reservation or the deposit will be forfeited.
