Meeting Rentals

The Longview Arboretum and Nature Center is the perfect venue for business meetings and extended learning classes and workshops.  We have several meeting spaces that are available for rent inside the building.  Please contact 903-212-2181 for details on what rooms are available on your meeting date. 

Days: Wednesday – Sundays during normal operating hours.  Non-business hour rentals are available on a case by case review by the Executive Director.

Rooms that are available to rent are The Lecture Hall, The Gathering Space and the Lounge Area.  An internet connection is available for all rentals. 

$50 refundable security deposit for damages/clean-up required to hold a room

Booking and payments:

Rooms will be reserved on a first come first serve basis.

Rooms must be reserved in advance and a $50 refundable security deposit is due at the time of booking to hold a room.

Your security deposit will be mailed to you up to 45 days after your event minus any applicable deductions.

Payments can be made by credit card, cash or mailing a check.  Payments made by check must be made at least 14 days in advance of the event.

Refreshments:

The Arboretum does not provide refreshments or the use of a refrigerator or freezer. Please bring a cooler if you need to keep items cold.  Catering is permitted as long as food stays in the rented room space.

Set Up:

Your set up and clean-up time is included in the rental.  Tables and chairs may be rented from a local facility or brought in by your group.  We do not provide any set-up, clean-up, plates, plastic ware, cups, ice or tablecloths.  You are responsible for providing and setting up refreshments, paper goods, and utensils.  The LANC has a limited number of folding tables and chairs available for rent at $1 per chair and $2 per table.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance or the deposit will be forfeited.

Clean Up:

Please leave the room as you found it. Place your trash in the trash cans provided.  If damages occur to the party room or it is not cleaned, the deposit will not be returned.  The LANC reserves the right to photograph any/all damages to the party room or failure to clean the room properly.
